i wish i didnt get really intimidated when i first came to chicago and just went with being a cinematography/documentary/film major thing. I figured journalism was the next closest thing to documentary making, and I could already write the way everyone else could already do all the film shit. oh well. sucks to suck. if i was going here next year, i would switch my major asap.
